My Favorite Models

So I just have to say that my sister and her fiance have got to be the best models out there. I just love taking their photos. And some of them actually turn out great ;)

Blessed

"Blessed is every one who fears the Lord,

who walks in His ways.

When you eat the labor of your hands,

you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.

Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine

in the very heart of your house,

your children like live plants all around your table.

Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.

The Lord bless you out of Zion,

and may you see the good of Jerusalem

all the days of your life.

Yes, may you see your children's children."

Psalm 128

The Long Winter

It seems as though the long winter is finally coming to a close. Well, I hope so anyways. I am definately ready for some warmer weather, how bout you?

when the rain taps at the window

"My gripe is not with the lovers of the truth but with the truth herself. What succor, what consolation is there in truth, compared to a story? What good is truth, at midnight, in the dark, when the wind is roaring like a bear in the chimney? When the lightning strikes shadows on the bedroom wall and the rain taps at the window with its long fingernails? No. When fear and cold make a statue of you in your bed, don't expect hard-boned and fleshless truth to come running to your aid. What you need are the plump comforts of a story. The soothing, rocking safety of a lie." -Diane Setterfield, The Thirteenth Tale

Here in Seattle, we heard quite a bit of rain tapping at the window... With flood warnings in effect I was able to take a half day off of work and spend the morning with my mom and dad.
