I go to the state fair every year for my birthday. I love it. One of my favorite things to do is go see the horses, especially the draft horses. So these are the photos I decided to share from today. Of course I took way more but I am trying to be a bit minimalist with this 'photo a day' thing.

Amy and Josh came over for a dessert visit for my birthday. Amy made some yummy blackberry & wine sauce for our ice cream. mmm...

Then Joshua and Josh got tired, and had a pillow party.

Here are three images for today. Rion and I went on a ferry boat ride this morning. Just to get out to the beach, enjoy the sunshine and water, and celebrate my birthday. No time for editing photos... just straight out of the camera today.

Ok I am turning 28 tomorrow, the 28th of August. My golden birthday! So I have decided to document my 28th year of life with a photo a day... I plan to post it on this blog. Some photos may not be all that exciting but they will have been taken that day, each and every day. I hope I can stick it through to the end.

My son is getting used to having the camera pointed at him. He now says 'cheese' for me and poses on occasion. These two shots are an example of his own 'modeling'.

I heart faces 'all about babies'

I decided to enter a photo on the i heart faces website (http://www.iheartfaces.com/)

I took this photo this past weekend of my niece and nephew. Just ten days apart, they are, as GrandmaT puts it, 'our Tribble twins'. I love that they have similar expressions on their faces and a daddy got them to hold hands for a moment. :)
